Proven Ways to Stop Smoking for Good – Full Stop!

Proven Easy Ways to Shatter your Addiction to Smoking

Absolutely Zero Stop Smoking Side Effects Achieved Through Hypnosis

Some people wonder why they still have stop smoking side effects while they use nicotine replacement. They wonder how they need additional patches as time passes by. The answer is pretty simple but suprising for many smokers. The reason people have low success rates with nicotine replacement is because nicotine is not able to treat a nicotine addiction. Most smokers do not understand why they smoke and is the reason they experience smoking side effects. Most people believe they smoke to stay relaxed, focused and sociable. However, the real reason they do not quit is because they feel they fell into a trap. Smokers believe that it is hard to quit and that they will experience terrible withdrawal.

Even when smokers go cold turkey, they feel they are not able to deal with cravings. They feel they still need this stick to stay relaxed and focused. It is this belief that allows them to relapse. However, if they truly do not have any reasons to smoke, they person will quit for good. Stop smoking side effects can be caused by mythical beliefs. If they believe that cigarettes are needed to relax, they will constantly crave them. Thus, the subconscious mind is a very powerful tool that causes people to smoke.

However, the need to smoke can be eliminated through simple hypnosis. People are able to purchase tapes that have high success rates. In the end, it is this realization and understanding of stop smoking side effects that ultimately causes people end their habit for good.

Thus, quitting smoking after many years is not difficult but only perceived to be. The activity itself has no use and leads people to false beliefs. If you wanted to calm yourself, you could simply take 10 deep breaths or try meditation instead of have a few cigarettes. If you wanted to focus better, you could go out and exercise. If you wanted to have fun, why would you have to smoke?

Stop Smoking FREE Hypnosis Download MP3 – Psychologist’s List …

Since the American Medical Association (AMA) approved the use of clinical hypnosis in the 1950’s, hundreds of thousands of people have found hypnosis to be an effective way to stop smoking, lose weight, and otherwise improve their lives. For smoking cessation, many hypnotists now even offer a one-time, half-hour individualized session. Since most insurance typically does not cover for hypnosis, the fee-for-service for this half-hour session can be more affordable than other treatments. Although some people may benefit from group hypnosis, most appear to find individual sessions as preferable.

Each singular session often consists of a brief discussion of one’s prior smoking behavior and common reasons why people might initially smoke; a discussion of the hypnotic process; reinforcement of one’s conscious motivators for wanting to quit; and a simple hypnotic trance induction with a post-hypnotic suggestion for smoking cessation. Most are quite susceptible to hypnotic suggestion, if it’s consistent with something desired.

It is not uncommon for many two-pack a day, twenty-plus years smokers to quit, after their first session. Subsequent to in-person treatment, following-up with a self-hypnosis audio program for smoking cessation is recommended. Reinforcing the hypnotic suggestions by listening to your self-hypnosis recording daily, for at least two weeks, should help to ensure a more positive treatment outcome.

Since 1992, according to New Scientist, it has been known that "Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking." Its quote was based upon a study cited within the Journal of Applied Psychology, earlier that same year.

There even exists evidence based clinical research that single-session hypnosis can be just as effective (if not more effective) than any other smoking cessation treatment program available. Although I often recommend combining hypnosis sessions with another treatment approach, which your family physician or pharmacist can recommend, it is not a necessity for efficacy

The best indicators of success, with this approach to quitting, are one’s prior ability to have successfully quit for at least one month; and one’s desire today to be smoke-free. Self-hypnosis audio recordings and smoking cessation readings appear to serve as a nice complement to the individualized session. The Internet provides an array of free quit smoking aides, including smoking cessation MP3 downloads!

These different methods try to wean a smoker off of the nicotine that addicts him or her in the first place. This is not always an effective tool and many times, users end up having to make several attempts before they are successful.

The hypnotherapist will put suggestions in your mind that lead you to quit smoking. You can do this over a period of time if you’re not completely successful at first. However, hypnosis is typically the best way to quit.

When you’ve spent too much money and wasted your time trying to quit with various methods, give hypnosis to stop smoking a try. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain when you do. Use an approved and tried and tested way to rid yourself of this bad habit once and for all.

Quit Smoking Hypnosis – A Simple DIY Smoking Hypnosis Technique to …

Quit smoking hypnosis has effectively helped many people to stop smoking. However, getting professional help from a good hypnotherapist is not only expensive, you may have to wait quite a while before you can get an appointment. Hypnosis CDs can be a reasonable alternative, but like hypnotherapists, the good ones are expensive and there are many lousy ones that just waste your time and money. Sometimes, if you want something done right, you need to do it yourself. Here is a method of self hypnosis that you can do on your own, where you can effectively verify the results of each step.

This quit smoking hypnosis technique is easy to perform and works fast. You do not need to have a strong imagination. This is important, because many common self hypnosis techniques need good imagination to work well. That is why many people say they have tried hypnosis and failed – because they do not have the level of imagination needed to make it work for them. For that matter, neither do I. Which is why I try to use props for my own self-help hypnosis.

There are only two props needed for this smoking hypnosis method: your cigarettes and some food you do not like, for example chili or celery. The aim is to hypnotically anchor the act of smoking cigarettes to the taste eating something extremely disagreeable and unpleasant to yourself. That means every time you pull out a cigarette to light it up, you will taste an unpleasant sensation in your mouth (the taste of hot spicy chili burning your tongue) and be reminded that you want to quit smoking. This can be an exceptionally helpful reminder for those who quit cold turkey. It is also a strong discouragement for those times you feel really tempted to smoke, and you can increase the effectiveness even more by carefully using nicotine patches or chewing gum to help you handle your nicotine withdrawal symptoms.

Here are the simple steps needed to create this hypnotic anchor:

  • Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.
  • Induce a light hypnotic trance by counting backwards from 100 to 1. Do this as many times as needed until you feel calm and relaxed. There are other ways to put yourself under a light hypnotic trance, but this is the easiest way for most people.
  • Once you are very calm and relaxed, pull out your cigarette as usual. However, instead of lighting it up, put the chili in your mouth and bite down on it. At this stage, most people will leave the hypnotic trance.
  • Repeat at least once everyday at the same time until biting down on the chili does not end your feeling of relaxation. This means the anchor is finally in place.
  • Once your anchor is in place, remember to renew it at least once a week initially, and eventually once a month.

And that is all there is to this simple, proven quit smoking hypnosis technique. Every step is simple and verifiable. It uses a light hypnotic trance so that your subconscious mind makes the anchor quickly and easily while letting you remain in control. It uses props so even the most unimaginative and stolid accountant or engineer can make it work for themselves. You also do not have to worry about some crooked hypnotist mucking about inside your mind doing who knows what.

Debunking Myths on Using Hypnosis to Stop Smoking

For so many years now, hypnosis as one way to stop smoking is considered one of the most effective technique in helping people stop smoking. In spite of its popularity as a great alternative medication used to stop smoking, many people are still confused and baffled on its efficiency. With high dependency on substances found in tobacco or cigarettes, most people say that hypnosis or mind control cannot easily eradicate smoking addiction.

This assertion can well be accepted if they can prove it. However, some individuals continue to debate on the effectivity of hypnosis because their beliefs had been deeply rooted on some myths that are not extremely reliable. Unfortunately, most people who had been brainwashed by myths on hypnosis are those that do not know anything about hypnosis.

Myths on hypnosis to stop smoking have become deeply rooted beliefs that other people are not even aware of them. Consequently, they are very difficult to break. Here is a list of some myths on how hypnosis is used to stop smoking and the truths behind them:

1. Hypnosis lets you do things against your will

Most people, who do not believe that an individual can use hypnosis to stop smoking, consider the statement that hypnotist can control the mind of an individual and let him do things even if they are against his will. This is definitely false. The point is that if hypnosis can allow people to control other people’s minds, then getting rich can be so easy. You do not even have to create a certain distinction on a smoker’s mind frame and help him stop smoking for life. This is because even if he does not want to stop smoking, he will be compelled to do so because his mind has been programmed and controlled to do such act.

The truth is that hypnosis can never let anybody do things against their will. Even if hypnosis can work its way through your subconscious mind, it is still your conscious mind that will put more bearing on things that you want to attain. The only goal of hypnosis is to help you program your mind to clear things that impede the realization of your goal.

For example, if you really want to stop smoking but you always have excuses or some things influence you to continue, you can opt for hypnosis to stop smoking. In this way, hypnosis can determine the hostilities of your sub-conscious mind so as to achieve the goals of your conscious self.

2. You can be hypnotized even if you do not want to

Some people say that anybody can be hypnotized even if they do not want to. This is totally a myth. Hypnosis is established on the fact that people are willing to be hypnotized because they wanted to see changes in their selves, from which they cannot consciously do. Because there are so many things that block the total concentration of an individual in focusing his mind to important things, such as quit smoking, they can always opt for hypnosis.

As much as you are willing to stop smoking, people who are hypnotized are usually the ones who submit themselves to such acts. In fact, some experts even say that not all people who are willing to be hypnotized can be easily directed to a hypnotic state. Keep in mind that willingness is the key to achieve your goals.

3. You are totally unaware of everything once hypnotized

The truth is that hypnosis can only get through your sub-conscious state. This means that you are not totally conscious but can still be slightly aware of what is happening around you. No wonder why individuals who are in hypnotic state can still answer sensibly the hypnotist’s questions or can still respond to the hypnotist’s suggestions.

The point here is that hypnosis can only alter your conscious state but can never let you leave it. Through hypnosis, one can easily see things not being accepted in reality or in one’s conscious state. Hence, acceptance is best achieved through hypnosis.

So through hypnosis, you would be able to accept that maybe, one of the reason why you cannot stop smoking even if you wanted to is because you still want to build that manly image. In real, it may be hard for you to admit this but through hypnosis, you can sub-consciously realize this and eventually stop smoking.

All of these myths are totally illusions of things hypnosis is not. Maybe, this can be rooted on the fact that not all people understand the real meaning of hypnosis. But once you have learned its meaning, it will be easier for you to accept the fact that you can effectively use hypnosis to stop smoking.

Stop Smoking – How Hypnosis Can Help You Kick the Smoking Habit …

Over the past several years, many more people have been using hypnosis to help them stop smoking successfully. With all of the various patches and gums on the market, smokers are still looking for a healthier and more effective way to quit. Although nicotine products work on reducing the level of withdrawal symptoms, thus making detox much more comfortable, they do not address the root of the addiction. Because of this, when faced with a stressful situation or when in a room full of smokers, picking up the smoking habit again is all too easy.

There is a way to help reprogram your brain on a basic level that will make it much easier to stop smoking and to stop for good. There can be many complex reasons that might keep someone addicted to cigarettes. However, oftentimes even just the comfort that having a habit provides is enough to keep it going. Acting like a security blanket, the cigarettes are something to turn in order to calm someone down when stressors present themselves. Someone can work hard to delay smoking in spite of stress but, many times, when they reach their threshold they fall back into old destructive patterns. Not only this, but sometimes people just pick up a cigarette without thinking, much like driving to a destination and not even realizing how you got there.

Something beyond our willpower is obviously driving this smoking addiction and hypnosis is a good way to stop smoking by working from the ground up. Although knowing the reasons for your particular smoking addiction can be helpful, oftentimes this knowledge is not enough to get the job done. You might continue struggling for years with conventional methods, but hypnosis can make the road to recover a whole lot faster and easier. There still needs to be some conscious effort, but hypnotherapy allows your efforts to be much more effective.

Hypnosis works by essentially reprogramming the subconscious part of your mind that is perpetuating your smoking addiction. You will quickly realize that the urges to pick up a cigarette might not be as strong. Also, you might find yourself more relaxed and better able to deal with life’s stresses. Having a tool that works to put some space between a triggering event and automatically smoking is invaluable. By allowing you this distance, your own desire to quit smoking can now carry you through and allow you to live a smoke-free life for good.

Stop Smoking by Hypnosis! How Does it Work?

Most smokers dream of the day they will be able to painlessly overcome their addiction and throw away their cigarettes for good! Can a dream become an actuality? Is there a painless way to quit smoking? If there is an answer to that question, it would have to be hypnosis. Let us examine how to stop smoking by hypnosis and see how it works.

While you are in a hypnotic state you can receive suggestions aimed at decreasing your perception of pain and increase your ability to cope with it. You might also receive suggestions focusing on decreasing your cravings.

If you are open to hypnosis, suggestions such as these can be extremely helpful in your attempt to quit smoking. Cravings to smoke can be overwhelming and most smokers usually give in and light up "just one more" cigarette. Hypnosis can help you deal with withdrawal symptoms. Even though withdrawal is only a short phase, it can be a very uncomfortable phase.

Hypnosis is a trance-like state of mind. Usually it is achieved with the help of a hypnotherapist. When you are hypnotized your attention is more focused, you are deeply relaxed, calm and open to suggestions. It can help you gain control over your behavior. As an ex smoker, I know gaining control is vital. Smokers are usually controlled by their cigarettes and not the other way around.

Most hypnotherapists hold sessions lasting from 30 to 60 minutes. The number of those sessions can range from one to several. You usually bring yourself out of hypnosis at the end of a session and you can resume your everyday duties immediately after a session.

Be very careful when choosing a hypnosis therapist. The practice of hypnosis is not regulated in most states. Ask your potential hypnotherapist about their training and licensing. Find out where they went to school and how long they have been in practice. Getting a recommendation from someone you trust would be very helpful.

Often times hypnosis can be used in conjunction with other nicotine replacement therapy aids. These aids can be found in the form of a patch, inhaler, lozenge or sprays. The aids can also lessen your need for nicotine and have been proven effective.

Whatever method you choose, remember in order to quit you must be motivated and determined. Arm yourself with one or more ways to beat your addiction. If you find you cannot stop smoking by hypnosis, move on to the next method. Quitting the nicotine habit will be the most rewarding fight you have ever won. It’s worth the battle and I know you can win!

#1 Way to Stop Smoking – Hypnosis is Proven to Be the Easiest …

When you open your eyes after being hypnotized, you will feel like a non-smoker and smoking will feel like a past distant memory, something you once did a long time ago.

You will NOT have the cravings, urges, desires for tobacco or feel like smoking. You will feel good and healthy. The smell of smoke will be unappealing and unappetizing. You will not miss the tobacco or nicotine. However, one most common mistake people make after being hypnotized is after the hypnosis session, they feel fine and they sit there putting it to the test with trying very hard to feel the urge to smoke, wondering where is that craving they are so familiar with. If you try hard enough, you can bring it back, thinking about that feeling of cravings for a cigarette. When you do this, you are re-hypnotizing yourself TO BE A SMOKER, focusing on bringing those urges and cravings in. You know what it feels like and thinking about it, remembering what it feels like, trying to feel it, because you know it is there if you can just find it and VOILA’ , you’re a smoker again!!.

ALL HYPNOSIS IS SELF HYPNOSIS. You can hypnotize yourself anytime you want. This works and works very well. I suggest you know what you are going to do when you are done with the hypnosis seminar and be on your way and do it. Do not focus on the old memories of those urges, trying to feel and bring in the craving for the tobacco or nicotine ( you think you’re just checking it out to see if it’s there, thinking, using your memory, trying to feel that urge or craving- BUT YOU’RE REALLY RE-HYNOTIZING YOURSELF TO BE A SMOKER). If you just go on with your life and not focus on the cigarettes or think about them, you will not ever miss those cigarettes or tobacco. If you get this part, you will do this with great success.

A light trance is as trancy as you need to get for this to work. This means you do not have to experience a deep trance. Deeper trances do not work better, but they are more interesting. A nice light trance is all you need for this to work. This means you simply, sit back, try to relax, listen to my voice and thinking about what I’m saying, participating and if you hear me, remember everything I say, are aware of other noises around you, that’s fine. To help you focus on my voice so you are not too distracted, focus on your breathing, feeling and listening to yourself breathe as you listen to every word I speak. Keep your tongue off the roof of your mouth so you can relax and relax your eyelids. If you do this, you won’t have tension in your face or body. Keep your eyes closed until I tell you to open them. Simply participating by following my instructions, will make you a great subject and you will be hypnotized even if you "don’t feel anything" because you won’t, other than feel relaxed. Afterwards, you will FEEL better, healthier, happier and stronger.

You are always in control. Always. Your senses become keener. You become more aware, not less. You hear me, and if you feel the need to know what I say, you’ll keep your level of physical consciousness up, tuned in on me so you can be aware of what is being said. Your mind may wonder. It can and if it does, just bring your attention back to my voice thinking about what I am saying. Think about cleaning up your system as we do a cleansing on your body of toxins. This is powerful. In a light trance, you may not feel very relaxed and you may hear someone coughing, etc. but try to focus on my voice and think about what I am saying and as long as you can do that, you ARE participating and WILL be hypnotized. And a nice light trance is as trancy as you need to get to make this work. This is like a mind exercise. You do not just listen to me as if I’m telling you a story but think about it, using your imagination, being creative, actually participating with the mind at work and feel it with emotion to make it most powerful.

I recommend listening to your CD "Stop Smoking with Hypnosis" by C.J. Savage, EVERYDAY for for the first 21 days to reinforce these suggestions so you will never smoke again. After the first 21 days, listen to it when you feel like it, want to, can’t sleep or your stress level is up.

Even if you have no desire to smoke, I suggest you listen to it anyway so if you do ever become very stressed over anything, you won’t go back to smoking ever again. It will also help you to reduce your stress, daily.
